"I'm new to this custom ROM world and you need to teach me how to do it. What it's basically is to complete a LineageOS / AOSP setup for the Google Pixel 6 and 6a that is roughly 80 % complete(get the source code and initial build still needed). The setup preparation need to be continued on a Linux setup already available(call/share screen needed or via messages).

The outstanding work is to strip out every non-essential, power-hungry component while keeping the device fully usable as a secure, low-drain communicator.

Auto-start custom application needed to be set also and the tests will be done with it.

Essential functions that must stay intact
• Phone calls & SMS
• Wi-Fi & mobile data
• Bluetooth & NFC
• GPS (hardware access only, no Google location stack)

Core sensors that must remain operational
• Accelerometer & gyroscope
• Proximity sensor
• Ambient light sensor

What still needs to be removed or strictly disabled
• Google Play Services and any remaining Google frameworks
• Background apps and services that auto-start
• System-level push notifications
• Minimize interfaces/theme
• Location services frameworks (the goal is GPS fix without the extra analytics layer)

Deliverables
1. A Buildable LineageOS / AOSP setup for Pixel 6/6a that meets the above requirements. → done together since we will work on the provided station.
2. Test the build on the target. → done together since we will work on the provided station.
3. A clean, reproducible build script or documented steps so I can rebuild the ROM myself. → done together since we will work on the provided station.
4. A short validation sheet confirming that communications, sensors, and low-power objectives are met (idle drain and wakelock stats).
