"We have a babysitter hiring website that was originally built in CodeIgniter back in 2017. While we’ve already updated the CodeIgniter framework to the latest version, we now want to completely move the project over to Laravel.

The goal is to rebuild the entire backend using Laravel (latest version), making everything fully compatible with PHP 8. This includes replacing the old session controller, Aauth libraries, and anything else that no longer fits modern standards.

One issue we’re facing is that our database backup was corrupted. So we’ll need someone to recreate all the necessary tables based on the existing model files and logic in the project. If you're experienced with Laravel, this should be manageable.

After the backend is migrated to Laravel, we also want to update the frontend. The current UI is still using Bootstrap 3.0, and we’d like to rebuild the views using the latest Bootstrap (v5). We also want to add some new features like Stripe integration for payments/subscriptions and switch our email system from SMTP to SendGrid.

You’ll need solid experience with Laravel, PHP 8, working with databases, and rewriting older code in a modern way. Attention to clean, maintainable code is important.
