Job Title: Experienced CakePHP Developer for Web Maintenance & Future Mobile App Development

Description:
We’re a small business seeking a reliable freelance developer to handle maintenance and updates on our CakePHP-based web application, including bug fixes, feature enhancements, and database optimizations. Work will be ongoing but part-time, totaling around $2,000–$10,000 per year (e.g., 10-50 hours per project, 1-2 projects per quarter). Down the track, we’ll also need help building a mobile app, so experience in app development is a big plus for long-term collaboration.
Required Skills:
• Strong proficiency in CakePHP framework
• Expertise in PHP and MySQL
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and HTML
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) is a plus
Preferred Skills for Future App Work:
• Mobile app development experience, ideally cross-platform (e.g., React Native using JavaScript, or Flutter with Dart) to leverage your web skills
