"I’m putting together a side-by-side document that captures both the “as-is” (IMO) and the “to-be” (FMO) view of two network-monitoring platforms—Netbrian and UTG. The spotlight is squarely on their monitoring and alerting capabilities because that is the area that will ultimately drive our tooling decision.

Here is what I need from you:

• A thorough, feature-level comparison focused on the monitoring and alerting stack. Please walk through:
– Graphical view of network status (Netbrian’s live circuit-down visualization is the benchmark).
– Notification methods, specifically email and SMS.
– Options for setting customizable alert thresholds.

• For each feature, break the content into two clear parts:
– IMO (how the tool handles it today, any limitations, configuration quirks, UX notes).
– FMO (how the feature could evolve or be optimized to meet best-practice operations, including any quick-wins or integration ideas).

• Close with a concise summary of strengths, gaps, and a recommendation on which platform delivers the most value for proactive monitoring.

The end product should be a well-structured document (Word or Google Docs is fine) that I can pass directly to the technical governance team.
