"We curently have a quote section on our website and it is connected to our internal project management portal hosted php 8 and mysql. But it is very finicky and constantly breaking if anything changes on the php 8 / mysql portal.

We're looking for creating a different quotesystem where website visitors can request quotes for our services. Our website is based on WordPress and the solution should be streamlined and very user friendly.

You’re free to build this as a mini-plugin, shortcode, widget, or Gutenberg block, as long as it follows WordPress best practices, loads quickly, and lets me update the quote list without touching code. Front-end styling should match my current theme out of the box and remain fully responsive.

Please deliver the working component installed on a staging copy of the site, along with clear instructions for adding, editing, and reordering quotes in the admin.

This is what we're looking for:

The quote engine should be standalone, hosted on WordPress.

Integration with internal systems should be done asynchronously via API, not direct dependency.

Public form → Independent DB → API webhook → Internal system (like our EPS).

The result should be:

High stability
No UI/UX issues from backend updates
Flexible design and branding
Faster turnaround for marketing needs

It should use drag-and-drop file uploads with automatic word count ability. The result should be Instant email notifications + EPS sync without being directly connected to EPS.

Once you propose a solution we will create workflow based on stability and user-friendly process. The client should be able to easily accept / modify the quote to start the projec.t
