The single purpose is clear: keep constant watch over my routers, switches, servers, workstations, and security appliances, then present that data in a way that lets me act before users feel any impact.

• Native SNMP discovery and polling that works out of the box, no manual OIDs unless I choose to add them.
• Real-time performance views—interface throughput, CPU, memory, latency—rendered in responsive graphs that update without page refresh.
• A flexible dashboard designer so I can drag-and-drop widgets and schedule custom PDF or CSV reports.
• Alerting engine with rule builder and multi-channel notifications (e-mail is a must; Slack or webhook support is a plus).
