"I need a custom web application built from the ground up. The core goal is to move a currently manual workflow online so that users can interact through a clean browser interface instead of spreadsheets and email threads.

Here is the scope as I see it right now:
• Design a responsive front end that works smoothly on modern desktop and mobile browsers.
• Implement the back-end logic, authentication, and data storage. I am open to frameworks—React, Vue, Angular or similar on the front end, and Node.js, Django, or Laravel on the back end—as long as the final stack is well-documented and maintainable.
• Integrate basic user management (sign-up, login, password reset) and role-based access controls.
• Set up a staging environment so I can test each milestone, then handle production deployment when we are ready to launch.

Acceptance criteria
1. All agreed-upon pages load in under three seconds on a standard broadband connection.
2. Code is version-controlled on GitHub (or GitLab/Bitbucket) with clear commit messages.
3. README includes environment setup, deployment steps, and a short API reference.
4. After final hand-off, I can spin up the project locally with a single command.
