"I’m wrapping up a detective-noir fantasy novel and now need an eye-catching, print-ready cover. The genre blends classic hard-boiled mystery with urban sorcery, but I want a playful twist rather than the usual grim palette.

Front concept
Inside the police station main bullpen. With characters from the book. In the background you see a kitchen and a coffee pot.

Back concept
Shift outside to a side angle of that same station. Leaning out the window is a guy holding a coffee pot. Coming down the stairs to the parking is the main character looking up at the "coffee pot guy". There are other characters walking down the stairs (description to follow) and two Art Deco stretch cars parked at the station. Keep visual continuity—same colour scheme, signage, and mood—just enough space for the blurb and barcode.

Mood & style
Although the setting sounds dark, I’m aiming for a humorous tone. Think witty pulp-comic exaggeration more than gritty realism.

Deliverables
• Full wraparound cover (front, spine, back) at 300 dpi, sized for a 6" × 9" paperback, including bleed.
• Layered source file (PSD or AI) so my editor can tweak text later.
• High-res JPEG or PDF ready for KDP or Ingram upload.
• Release of IP

Acceptance
Colour, layout, and typography must remain readable when reduced to thumbnail size on Amazon; the magical-noir elements need to be immediately recognisable; and final files must pass KDP’s print preview without errors.
