The app should surface stories across Politics, Sports, Entertainment, Technology, Business, Health, and Science, giving readers a clear, category-based way to browse what matters most to them.

Core functionality I need built in:
• Push notifications for breaking stories.
• A “save for later” bookmark option that works offline.
• A full dark-mode theme that switches automatically with the system setting.

Smooth performance, clean navigation, and native Android design guidelines are priorities. the app should fetch news from some news API.

Please outline:
1. The tech stack and libraries you plan to use (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Retrofit, etc.).
