"I want to turn one of the function keys on a standard keyboard—most likely F1, though any spare F-key is acceptable—into a dedicated “Time Key.” Pressing that key should immediately perform a time-related action: for example, pasting the current date-and-time stamp into whatever field has the cursor, or displaying the time in a small pop-up. We can finalise the exact behaviour together, but the key point is that the chosen function key triggers it with a single press.

Please deliver a lightweight, self-contained solution that:
• Binds the selected function key exclusively to the agreed time action while active
• Runs reliably on Windows 10/11 without conflicting with existing shortcuts
• Lets me change the bound key later through a simple edit or options screen
• Includes clear set-up instructions so I can replicate it on other machines
