"I run an active PKP OJS 3.x journal portal and now need a solid PHP specialist to move it to the next level. The immediate goals are two-fold:

1) Theme overhaul
The default look no longer matches our brand. I want a full layout redesign—new header/footer structure, reorganised article landing pages, and improved mobile responsiveness—plus a fresh colour palette that aligns with our style guide. CSS/LESS and Smarty template tweaks are expected; no workflow modifications are required for this phase.

2) Custom plugin work
• New functionality: a metrics sidebar that pulls real-time views, downloads, and Altmetric data per article, displaying it in an expandable widget.
• System integration: a connector that syncs newly published articles with our institutional repository through its REST API (JSON), including automated metadata mapping and error logging.

Code standards & tools
Please adhere to PKP coding conventions, use Git for version control, and document installation steps so my in-house admin can maintain the changes.

Deliverables
- Re-skinned, responsive child theme reflecting the approved mock-ups and colour scheme.
- Metrics widget plugin packaged and ready for installation (.[login to view URL]).
- Repository integration plugin with config options in the OJS settings panel.
- Read-me and change-log for each deliverable; Git repo pushed to our private server.
- Short hand-off session (video or written) covering deployment and rollback.
