"We are a IT digital marketing company and am looking to outsource our client projects and on a long term business basis.

The task centres on building — and then refining — a WooCommerce-powered site that serves a dual purpose: Web & eCommerce. I already have product data, basic branding assets, and hosting in place; what I need now is a developer who can turn these inputs into a fast, secure storefront and keep iterating with me as new features arise.

Scope of the initial build
• Install and configure WordPress + WooCommerce on my server.
• Custom-design (or adapt) a responsive theme so the store and informational pages feel consistent with our brand guidelines.
• Set up core eCommerce functions: variable products, coupons, tax rules, major payment gateways, shipping rates and order-notification emails.
• Optimise page speed, SEO basics and mobile usability.
• Provide a short hand-off document that explains how to add products, run updates and restore backups.

What to include in your bid
I value clarity, so please respond with a detailed project proposal — timeline, milestones, the tech stack or plugins you expect to use, and any past WooCommerce examples that prove you can meet those milestones. General experience summaries are helpful, but the proposal itself is the deciding factor.

Acceptance criteria
The store must pass a full checkout test (guest and registered user), score 90+ on Google PageSpeed for mobile, and launch with no console errors in the latest versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

After launch, I anticipate periodic feature sprints (subscriptions, loyalty points, and integrations), so a reliable long-term collaboration is on the table once the first deliverable is signed off.

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Mid–Senior Web / eCommerce Developer with strong technical proficiency, excellent design sense, and the ability to manage end-to-end website development. The ideal candidate will be responsible, fast, reliable, and capable of handling tight schedules, including occasional overtime when required.
You will manage corporate websites, eCommerce stores, multisite environments, payment gateway integrations, server configuration, and site migrations across multiple brands within our Group.

Key Responsibilities
1. Website & eCommerce Development
• Develop, enhance, and maintain corporate websites and full eCommerce platforms using WordPress & WooCommerce.
• Build custom themes, templates, and functionalities based on project requirements.
• Manage multisite setups and multi-brand environments.
2. Payment Gateway Integration
• Integrate and configure payment solutions such as HitPay, Stripe, and other gateways as required.
• Ensure secure, seamless transactions and troubleshooting of gateway issues.
3. Server, Hosting & Migration
• Manage hosting environments including WHM / cPanel.
• Perform full site migrations, staging to production deployment, DNS configuration, and SSL setups.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot downtimes, and conduct basic server security hardening.
4. UI / UX & Frontend Development
• Implement responsive, user-friendly layouts and interfaces.
• Work with design elements to ensure good UI/UX standards.
• Optimize for speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
5. Technical Troubleshooting & Maintenance
• Diagnose plugin, theme, server, or compatibility conflicts.
• Maintain regular updates, backups, and security patching.
• Provide technical support to internal teams when required.
6. Work Ethic & Project Delivery
• Deliver tasks on tight deadlines with high accuracy and speed.
