"I already have a Docker-based Node.js service that accepts an SVG template, swaps the placeholder text, pipes the file through Inkscape CLI, VPype CLI and an SVG-to-GCode converter, then returns a file ready for my Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro. The chain works, but the solid-fill engraving still looks patchy compared with LightBurn.
The main pain problem is that there are some lines in the characters when engraving, basically lines that shoulnd't been there, and the laser should have removed. With LightBurn it works fine but I cannot use LightBurn to automate it. I’m therefore looking for someone to rewrite or replace any part of the pipeline—in other words, a full backend implementation if that’s faster—to guarantee a perfect solid fill.

What I’ll consider a finished job
1. A repeatable backend workflow (Dockerfile + Node.js scripts) that receives an SVG with placeholders and outputs ready-to-run G-code.
2. At least one sample template processed through your solution and successfully engraved on my Ortur with a solid, even fill.
3. Clear setup and usage instructions so I can rebuild the container and run it in CI.
If optimizing one tool is enough, great; if swapping libraries or inserting custom algorithms makes more sense, I’m open to that. Let me know how you’d tackle the fill issue and any similar work you’ve done, and we can get started right away." (client-provided description)
