"Project Overview

My WordPress website running WooCommerce is experiencing issues with the cart, checkout, and shipping setup. The site is built, but customers currently cannot complete orders properly.

I need an experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer to fix these issues within 24 hours.

Scope of Work
1. Cart Functionality

Products must be added and removed from the cart reliably.

Cart must correctly update product quantities.

Cart totals (subtotal, tax, shipping) must calculate accurately.

Fix any caching or session issues causing the cart not to update or to clear unexpectedly.

2. Checkout Process

Ensure the checkout page loads correctly with all required fields.

Fix any validation or “stuck” checkout issues.

Ensure payment gateways process correctly and orders are recorded in WooCommerce.

Ensure customers receive order confirmation emails.

3. Shipping & Local Pickup – REQUIRED BEHAVIOUR

I need the following specifically:

Both the cart and checkout pages must show:

Shipping options (e.g. Standard/Express Shipping)

A Local Pickup option

Shipping must:

Auto-calculate when the customer enters their shipping address (country, state, suburb, postcode).

Use WooCommerce shipping zones and methods correctly.

Display correct shipping cost in:

The cart

The checkout

The order summary/confirmation

Local Pickup must:

Be available as a selectable option at checkout (and visible in cart if possible).

Not charge shipping when Local Pickup is selected.

Show clear wording like “Local Pickup” on the order.

Fix the existing shipping plugin/configuration so it works as intended (e.g. WooCommerce Shipping, Australia Post, Sendle, etc.).

If any API keys or credentials are wrong/expired, identify the issue so it can be updated.

Technical Details

The site uses:

Check for plugin conflicts affecting cart/checkout.

Confirm WooCommerce pages (Cart, Checkout, My Account) are correctly assigned in settings.
