Fusia Tech is building an integrated SaaS platform for UK medical cannabis clinics and pharmacies. We link clinic workflows, prescribing, patient engagement and pharmacy fulfilment with AI decision support and full audit trails. We work with senior clinicians, including a professor at Johns Hopkins and UK medical directors, to ensure the product is clinically realistic and regulator ready.

Role overview
We are looking for a part-time Technical Project Manager who is also a hands-on full-stack developer. You will manage a small remote tech team, keep delivery on track in Jira and Slack, review wireframes and user journeys, improve documentation, and help translate technical issues into clear language for the founder.

Time commitment is approximately 5–7 hours per week, with flexibility, but you must be comfortable driving progress in a lean early-stage environment.

What you will do

Run light-weight project management for the tech team using Jira and Slack

Own the delivery board: groom tickets, check estimates, highlight risks, and keep priorities clear

Review wireframes, user journeys and specs to ensure they are technically realistic and coherent

Contribute as a full-stack developer where needed (small features, glue code, refactors, code review)

Maintain and improve technical documentation for key services, APIs and workflows

Translate technical trade-offs into plain English for the founder and business team

Coordinate with design and product on handover from UX to build

Spot delivery risks early and propose practical options to de-risk them

Help enforce good engineering hygiene: code review discipline, sensible branching and basic QA steps

Required skills and experience

Strong full-stack development background (for example TypeScript / Node / React or similar modern stack)

Solid experience as a technical project manager, tech lead, or similar hybrid role in a software team

Comfortable running small teams with Jira (or similar) and Slack as the core tooling

Experience reviewing wireframes, user journeys and technical specs and turning them into well-shaped tickets

Excellent written and verbal communication. Able to explain complex topics simply and directly

Highly organised and detail focused while still hands on in the code

Nice to have

Experience in a regulated domain such as healthcare, insurance, banking, medical devices or similar

Previous work on EMR, pharmacy, insurance or other workflow-heavy products

Familiarity with compliance, audit trails or SaMD style environments
