"My site currently runs the Densmi – Dental Clinic theme (parent v1.6) with a dedicated child theme that holds every custom tweak I have made so far. I need the parent theme upgraded to the newest release from ThemeForest and the server’s PHP version brought up to the latest stable build that the new theme recommends.

The child theme must stay exactly as it is—every style, function and template override needs to survive the process untouched. All plugins in use are standard, so no special compatibility audits should be required beyond the usual post-update sanity checks.

Deliverables
• Full backup taken before any work begins, restored to a staging area for testing
• Parent theme updated on staging, child theme confirmed to render without errors
• PHP version raised (likely PHP 8.x), with any necessary adjustments to .htaccess or wp-config
• Cross-browser front-end review on staging to confirm layout, forms and animations work as before
• Live site pushed only after I sign off on the staging copy
• A concise changelog noting theme files replaced and the exact PHP version applied

Acceptance criteria
✓ No visual or functional regression on the live site
✓ Child theme files unchanged and loading correctly
✓ WordPress dashboard shows updated theme version and new PHP version without warnings
