"I’m putting together a compact control setup where an Android phone sends simple text commands to an ESP32 over Bluetooth. The user will only trigger a transmission when tapping a button or similar UI element, and I need the microcontroller to answer back immediately so the app can show the response without noticeable lag.

Here’s what I’m aiming for:

• Android side: Source-level project in Java or Kotlin that handles discovery/pairing, maintains a stable connection (classic SPP or BLE—your call), dispatches ASCII commands on user interaction, and renders the ESP32’s instant reply inside the UI.

• ESP32 side: Sketch or component-based code that waits for incoming text, parses the command, generates a prompt response, and sends it straight back. Please keep the firmware lightweight and compatible with the standard ESP-IDF or Arduino framework.

• Documentation: A brief README covering build steps, flashing, required permissions, and any libraries you chose, so I can reproduce the setup end-to-end.

Acceptance criteria:
– Command is delivered and acknowledged within one second at a 2-meter distance.
– Connection auto-recovers after either device reconnects.
– Code builds cleanly in Android Studio and the chosen ESP32 toolchain.
