Project description:
"I want a clean, responsive web page that turns raw CSV files into an engaging progress-tracking dashboard for health metrics. When I drop a new CSV into the designated folder (or upload through the interface), the page should parse the data on load and display clear visual indicators — think progress bars, line trends, or gauge charts — so users can immediately see how they’re doing against this historical data.
Essential interactions
• Users must be able to filter results by date ranges, category, or individual metric and sort each column instantly without waiting for a server round-trip.
• Updates happen client-side on the fly; refreshing the browser with a new CSV should be all that’s needed to reflect fresh numbers.
Tech preferences
JavaScript tooling such as D3.js, [login to view URL], or similar is fine as long as the codebase stays lightweight and readable. No back-end database is required right now, but please structure the code so an API data source could be dropped in later without a full rewrite. (can use chatGPT or other API API to parse data to create visualizations)
Deliverables
• Single-page responsive HTML/CSS/JS dashboard that renders the CSV-driven visuals
• CSV parsing module with clear mapping rules
• Filter and sort controls that work seamlessly across modern browsers
I’ll test by loading a sample CSV, toggling filters, and confirming the visuals update instantly and accurately. Once it passes that check, we’re good to wrap." (client-provided description)
