On the cart I’m seeing broken layout elements and a couple of features (update-cart button and item totals) have vanished.

Here’s what I’m after:
• Restore full cart functionality and align it visually with the theme.
• Correct any CSS or template issues on product pages and during checkout so everything displays consistently on desktop and mobile.
• Keep plugins and theme updates intact; no work-arounds that will be overwritten by the next update.
