"I need a Windows-based desktop application that can send large batches of email through any standard SMTP Server and gmail api. The tool must include its own licensing system so I can activate, deactivate or time-limit copies through unique keys or similar logic.

Core flow
• User installs the program on Windows 10/11, enters a licence key and the software validates it against a local or remote store.
• Inside the app the user adds one or more SMTP profiles (host, port, SSL/TLS, username, password).
• A list of recipients (CSV, TXT or Excel) is imported, merged into the email body with placeholders, then dispatched in configurable threads/intervals to respect server limits.

Although my immediate requirement is SMTP-only, design the architecture so additional gateways such as SendGrid or Amazon SES can be added later without rewriting the core.

Minimum feature set
1. Licence manager (create/disable keys, usage counter, expiry date).
2. Email composer that accepts rich HTML (an embedded editor or external file import is fine).
3. Per-recipient personalisation using merge tags.
4. Real-time sending progress, success/failure log and exportable report.
5. Bounce detection via SMTP response codes.
6. MSI/EXE installer and signed executable.

Acceptance criteria
• Executable runs on a clean Windows VM, prompts for and validates a key, then allows sending a 100-address test list successfully through a supplied SMTP account.
• Source code and brief build instructions are delivered alongside the installer." (client-provided description)
