"My Shopify theme needs a handful of quick refinements, starting right now with the complete removal of our custom-built footer and reference to the old footer stripped from Liquid, CSS, and any JSON templates so the codebase stays clean.

As soon as that is confirmed, the next priority is adjusting the blog layout. I chose “Adjusting the blog layout” as the very first follow-up task because the current design feels cramped and inconsistent with the rest of the store. I haven’t settled on a final structure (grid, single column, or two-column), so I’ll look to you for suggestions and a quick iteration cycle before pushing live.

There will be additional micro-projects after these two, so clear documentation of the files you edit is important for smooth hand-offs.

Deliverables
• Footer: custom footer fully removed, no orphaned code, nothing breaking the theme settings.
• Blog: new layout implemented and styled to match the store, with a short note outlining any new sections, Liquid edits, or CSS overrides.
• Change log: brief summary of all files touched and a before/after screenshot set so we can track progress.
