"About Us
We are Progreza — a Mexican fitness training app by Karen Zarate, a personal trainer who helps hundreds of people stay on track with their workouts every month. Our app is an essential part of our users’ daily lives, and we feel a huge responsibility to keep it running smoothly.

We’re a small but passionate team (husband and wife), and this project is built with a lot of love. Recently, we completed a major rebuild of the app in Flutter to support the latest iOS and Android versions. This new version was developed by an external team over almost two years. Unfortunately, the process was slow, the team was neither proactive nor highly capable, and we lost trust in their ability to deliver the professional service we need. If we want to serve our community well and grow in the future, we need a fresh start — one led by a developer who is reliable, proactive, and aligned with our vision.

When This Role Starts
This maintenance role will begin once the latest version of Progreza is live in both the App Store and Google Play Store (expected September 2025). At that time, we will hand over the project to you for ongoing maintenance and bug fixes.

We currently do not have the complete technical documentation or memo, as we don’t want to disrupt the current developers while they finalize the release. Once the handover happens, we will request all documentation from them and provide it to you so you can work efficiently.

Scope of Work
Priority: Fix bugs and ensure smooth functionality across all supported devices.
Minor UI tweaks or copy/image adjustments if needed (rare cases).
No ongoing monitoring required — work is on-demand when issues arise.
No app store review monitoring (we handle that internally).
Maintain compatibility and stability for all core systems.

Requirements
Strong experience with Flutter for both iOS & Android deployment.
Familiarity with Flutter, Firebase, Laravel.
Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and solve issues quickly.
Proactive mindset — you help us spot and fix issues before they escalate.

Nice-to-Have
Experience with fitness/wellness apps.
Experience optimizing app performance and user experience.

Budget & Terms
Monthly rate: USD $550 (fixed).
Work is on-demand (flexible hours) but responsive during agreed working hours.
