Here’s what I have in mind:
• Users enter income sources and recurring or one-off expenses.
• The app groups those entries into customisable categories and shows what’s left in real time.
• Clear visual cues—charts, progress bars or colour highlights—alert users when they are about to exceed a category or overall limit.
• All data must be stored securely on-device with the option to export or back up to Google Drive.

I’m happy for you to pick Kotlin or Java, but the final build must run smoothly on recent Android versions and pass Play Store requirements. Clean, well-commented source code and an installable APK are mandatory hand-offs; a concise setup/read-me will help me test rapidly.
