"My WooCommerce network spans several connected stores and I need every new order – regardless of which storefront it comes through – to drop a ready-formatted receipt straight onto a printer in our back office.

Here’s the flow I’m after: a lightweight Windows service (the local printing agent) polls or listens for new orders, fetches the receipt generated by WooCommerce, and instantly routes it to one or more printers I define in the agent’s settings. The WordPress plugin side will expose the controls for mapping stores, choosing the printer profile, and triggering the print job automatically the moment an order status changes to “processing” or “completed.”

Key deliverables
• WooCommerce plugin that recognises all connected stores in a multisite or API-linked setup and flags every order for auto-printing.
• Windows-based local printing agent that runs silently in the tray, authenticates securely with the plugin, and supports unlimited network or USB printers.
• Receipt template builder (HTML/PHP or a simple drag-and-drop) allowing logo placement, tax totals, barcode/QR, and optional customer note.
• Settings page inside WooCommerce to toggle auto-print on/off globally, pause individual printers, or add a secondary “kitchen” printer if needed.
• Installation guide and brief screencast demo proving an order placed on any store generates a printed receipt without manual intervention.

Acceptance criteria
1. Place a test order on Store A and Store B – both receipts must print automatically within 5 seconds.
2. Stopping the agent should halt printing; restarting resumes without reconfiguration.
3. Changing the receipt template in WordPress instantly reflects on the next print job.

Tech flexibility is welcome for the communication layer (REST, WebSocket, or polling) as long as the result is reliable on Windows 10/11. Source code, build instructions, and clear documentation are part of the handoff." (client-provided description)
