"We are urgently looking for an experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer to remove a problematic theme (Grosso) and rebuild our webshop using a modern, stable theme without changing the current design.

The current theme is causing:

Massive PHP warnings

A 13GB error_log

MySQL overload

Checkout failures

Severe performance issues

We need this resolved immediately.

Project Goal

Replace the current WooCommerce theme with a clean, lightweight, stable theme (Astra / Blocksy / Kadence) while keeping the exact same look & feel.

What You Will Do
Phase 1 — Staging cope (Immediate)

Create a full clne of the live site on staging.

Work only in staging until approved.

Phase 2 — Theme Replacement

Install Astra, Blocksy, or Kadence (we will choose together).

Rebuild:

Header

Footer

Homepage layout

Category pages

Product pages

Cart + checkout (WooCommerce defaults)

The site must visually match the current design 1:1.

Phase 3 — Migrate Custom Functionality

Move custom logic from the old Grosso theme into a site-specific plugin, including:

Custom hooks

Product badges

AJAX cart features

Template overrides

Phase 4 — Plugin Cleanup

Remove deprecated or duplicate plugins.

Remove Grosso theme add-ons.

Ensure stable, minimal plugin stack.

Phase 5 — Testing

Checkout flow (Mollie)

Emails

Mobile responsiveness

Caching behavior

Error logs

Performance

Phase 6 — Go-Live Migration

Sync database

Switch theme

Remove old theme files

Flush cache

Final tests

Downtime must be close to zero.
