"I need a clear, developer-ready requirements document for a new Android app that tracks a WhatsApp contact’s online and offline presence in real time. Here is what must be captured:

• Technical flow: how the app will request, receive, and store presence data on Android; proposed libraries, APIs, or workaround techniques to bypass the lack of official WhatsApp endpoints; data-privacy considerations; and any server components required for push notifications.
• UX guidance: wireframes or annotated sketches for the clean, no-clutter layout—home dashboard, contact screen, history log, settings.
• Data model: tables/collections to keep raw events, aggregated stats, and user preferences with retention limits.
• Edge-case handling: offline device, revoked permissions, rate-limiting by WhatsApp and similar service disruptions.
• Acceptance criteria: a developer following this document should be able to build a functional proof-of-concept that (1) adds a phone number, (2) displays “online” within two seconds of the contact appearing, (3) logs both start and end times with ≤1-minute accuracy, and (4) shows a searchable history list.
