"We have a supabase project that consists of multiple tables consisting of product, pricing, and image data.

To simplify integration for external users via API (e.g. clients, partners, 3rd-party platforms), a consolidated and secure API needs to be created. This will expose key product information via a single, well-structured endpoint, backed by a new consolidated table in Supabase.

Project Objectives:

1)To design and implement a single, external-facing API that provides access to the supplier’s key product, pricing, and image data.
2) To create a new consolidated Supabase table that aggregates essential fields from around 8-12 existing tables, enabling access with one API configuration rather than multiple joins. Any data changes to the main tables needs to reflect onto the single condilidated table.
3) To ensure the API is secure, performant, and well-documented for easy consumption by external developers. Define and implement the authentication method, e.g.: API key per external client
4)Produce a developer-friendly API specification, for example:
documentation with endpoint definitions, parameters and response schemas.
Example requests/responses (cURL, Postman, JavaScript, etc.).
Provide a short “Getting Started” guide for external users:
How to obtain credentials.
How to call the API.
