"1. PROJECT OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced PrestaShop developer to completely redesign our product page and implement new e-commerce features. The goal is to modernize the user experience and optimize the purchase journey across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
Reference HTML template: Provided to the selected freelancer
2. GENERAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• All developments must be 100% responsive (desktop, tablet, mobile)
• No modification should break any existing website functionality
• Code must be clean, commented, and optimized for performance
• Prioritize native PrestaShop modules whenever possible
• Strict adherence to the design provided in the HTML template
3. MODULES AND FEATURES TO DEVELOP
3.1 – Navigation Menu Redesign
Objective: Modernize the main menu according to the provided HTML template.
Specifications:
• Modify the existing Mega Menu module or use the native PrestaShop module if more suitable
• Allow highlighting of specific categories and products
• Impactful design focused on marketing/conversion
• Full responsive adaptation
3.2 – Product Page Redesign
Objective: Reproduce exactly the HTML template layout.
Specifications:
• Left zone: product image thumbnails
• Center zone: main product image in large format
• Right zone: product information, details, price, add to cart button
• Smooth vertical scrolling system for page navigation
3.3 – Search Bar Redesign
Objective: Create an immersive and efficient search experience.
Specifications:
• Use the native PrestaShop search module (remove current module)
• On magnifying glass click: open a full-screen page dedicated to search
• Search term autocomplete
• Display featured categories below the search field
• Cross-sell zone: display the 12 most recently added products (2 rows)
• Specific adaptation for mobile version (see template)
3.4 – AI Adviser (New Feature)
Objective: Integrate an intelligent assistant to guide customers.
Specifications:
• Create a dedicated PrestaShop module
• Connection via Claude API (Anthropic)
• Pre-configured questions editable in back-office according to product categories
• On question click: open a conversation pop-up
• Responses dynamically generated via the API
• Design and UX identical to the provided HTML template
3.5 – Customer Reviews Carousel
Objective: Display Trustpilot reviews on all product pages.
Specifications:
• Horizontal carousel of latest reviews
• Back-office management: add/edit/delete reviews
• Editable fields: title (bold), review text, review date
• Design matching the template
3.6 – Advanced Product Zoom
Objective: Allow customers to see product details.
Specifications:
• Reproduce the zoom system from the HTML template
• Available only on desktop and tablet
• Smooth and performant zoom
3.7 – Wishlist
Objective: Implement a complete wishlist functionality.
Specifications:
• Install and configure the wishlist module available in back-office
• Visual integration matching the website colors
• Implementation across the entire site (product pages, listings, etc.)
3.8 – Login/Registration Pop-up
Objective: Modernize the authentication process.
Specifications:
• Open as pop-up from the menu (as per template)
• Two tabs: Login / Register
• Integration of social media login module (already live)
• Successful authentication confirmation message
• Two editable blocks in back-office
• Two editable news blocks in back-office
• Preserve native PrestaShop blocks below
3.9 – Notification System
Objective: Implement a user notification system.
Specifications:
• Install the notification module present in back-office
• Clean integration in the navigation menu
3.10 – Language and Delivery Zone Selector
Objective: Facilitate language and currency switching.
Specifications:
• Design matching the HTML template
• Use native PrestaShop features
• Automatic language and currency setting based on country
• Intuitive and accessible interface
4. EXPECTED DELIVERABLES
• Commented and documented source code
• Modules installed and configured on the development environment
• Technical documentation for each developed module
• Back-office user guide for editable features
• Cross-browser compatibility testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
• Responsive testing on different devices
5. PROJECT CONDITIONS
