"I want to tighten up two core parts of our platform: the public-facing website and the logged-in client portal. The most urgent task is to link our existing payment page correctly, wiring it to the payment gateway that is already live so that transactions flow, callbacks are handled, and success/failure messaging lands in the right place.

Alongside that, the portal needs a clean document-management flow. Clients should be able to upload, preview, download, and delete files from a tidy dashboard with role-based access. The code must be performant, the UI consistent with the rest of the site, and everything secured to best practice standards.

Because our product uses a large-language-model layer to surface knowledge to users, experience calling OpenAI (or comparable) APIs and displaying the responses inside a web app will help you move quickly. If you can suggest caching or prompt-tuning tricks to speed things up, all the better.
