"I'm looking for a developer to build a web-based software solution that interfaces with a serial RS232 connection. This tool will be used by multiple users, each managing their own equipment (Mac mini with serial devices).

Key Requirements:
- User Management: Multiple users, each with private equipment visibility.
- Real-Time Monitoring: Live data feed from the RS232 connection.
- Historical Data Analysis: Review past data for trends.
- Alert Notifications: Set alerts for when values go above/below specified thresholds.
