"I’m building a lightweight mobile application that brings the restaurant-discovery experience of Zomato or Swiggy to India’s tier-4 and tier-5 towns. The scope is intentionally narrow: the app must focus on restaurant listings only, showing each eatery’s menu and prices clearly so users can decide where to dine or order by phone. No delivery workflow, rider tracking, or payment gateway is required at this stage.

Core requirements
• Smooth performance on modest Android and iOS devices, with graceful handling of spotty 3G connections common in smaller cities.
• Clean, searchable catalogue of restaurants with categories, cuisine filters, and a straightforward “menu & price” view for every outlet.
• Simple CMS or admin panel where I can add new restaurants, upload or edit menus, and push updates instantly.
• Modern UI resembling familiar food-ordering apps, yet optimised for quick load times and minimal data usage.
• Source code, build instructions, and basic technical documentation delivered upon project hand-off.

Acceptance criteria
1. A user in a low-bandwidth environment can open the app, browse restaurants, and read a full menu without perceptible lag.
2. Menus and prices render accurately across at least three screen sizes.
3. I can add a new restaurant and see the change live in-app within two minutes from the admin panel.
