We are looking for an experienced freelancer or small team to help us build a flight delay & cancellation compensation platform similar in concept to Skycop, Flightright, or AirHelp, operating under EU Regulation 261/2004 (EU261).
Scope of Work
The freelancer will be responsible for helping us design and/or implement:
*Claim Intake System
Flight details submission (flight number, date, route)
Passenger details
Document upload (boarding pass, booking confirmation)
Power of Attorney (POA) handling
GDPR-compliant data handling
*Flight Eligibility Logic
Delay / cancellation / missed connection logic
EU261 compensation rules
Flight distance-based compensation (€250 / €400 / €600)
Support for extraordinary circumstances logic (basic)
*CRM / Claim Workflow
Claim status pipeline (new → submitted → airline response → escalation → paid)
Airline communication tracking
Internal notes and document storage
Automation-ready structure
*Airline Communication Templates (optional but preferred)
Initial EU261 claim letter
Rebuttal templates
Escalation / reminder templates
Technical Preferences (flexible)
Backend: PHP / Node.js / Python (open to suggestions)
Frontend: React / Vue / WordPress (open to suggestions)
Database: MySQL / PostgreSQL
Third-party flight data integration (experience required)
