"The task is to take full ownership of our Odoo stack on an ongoing, full-time basis. Everyday work revolves around designing, building and refining modules with Python, XML and PostgreSQL while keeping performance, security and Odoo best practices front and centre.

Beyond writing code, the scope includes crafting new business workflows across HR, Accounting, Sales, Inventory apps etc, wiring Odoo to external services through REST and RPC APIs, and troubleshooting production issues until they are fully resolved. Deployments, version upgrades and data migrations are part of the routine, so clean scripts and an eye for backward compatibility are essential.

Close collaboration with our functional team is expected: they translate business needs, you translate those into maintainable, well-tested modules, explaining technical trade-offs in simple terms along the way.

Key deliverables
• Custom modules and feature enhancements committed to our Git repository with unit tests
• Upgrade and data-migration scripts for each new Odoo version we adopt
• Documented integration connectors for payment, CRM, e-commerce and shipping platforms
• Post-deployment performance and security reports for every release

Acceptance criteria: code must pass Odoo CI checks, respect PEP 8 standards, ship with meaningful tests and keep average response time below 150 ms on staging.
