"I want a fully-functional chess game for Android that lets two players face off either on the same device or online from different devices. Real-time online play is essential, so a reliable matchmaking or room-creation flow is needed alongside smooth local pass-and-play.

Players will sign in with their Google or Facebook accounts; social login should handle profile pictures and basic data securely. Once in a match—whether local or online—an in-game chat bar must sit just below the board so opponents can exchange short text messages without leaving the action.

Core goals
• Classic chess rules enforced, including stalemate, draw offers and resignations
• Local multiplayer and online multiplayer sharing a single code-base
• Social media authentication (Google / Facebook) only—no email or guest mode required
• Integrated in-game text chat tied to each match
• Clean, touch-friendly UI that scales from small phones to tablets
• Source code written for Android Studio, well-commented and handed over with build instructions
• One signed APK (or AAB) ready for Play Store upload plus a debug build for testing

I’ll consider solutions built with native Kotlin/Java or cross-platform stacks such as Unity or Flutter as long as they meet the above requirements and keep latency low—Firebase Realtime Database, WebSockets, or similar services are fine for the backend.
