"I want to create a custom VPN application for Android whose sole purpose is to give users rock-solid privacy and security while they browse, especially when they connect to public Wi-Fi. The project is not about unblocking streaming libraries or corporate tunnelling; it is strictly for personal data protection.

Core requirements
• The VPN must secure every connection with strong, modern encryption and automatically engage whenever the device joins an open or untrusted hotspot, delivering “Proteksi WiFi publik” as the default behaviour.
• Connection stability, minimal battery impact, and a clean, easy-to-use Android UI are essential.
• Feel free to build on top of WireGuard, OpenVPN, or another standards-based protocol so long as it meets current best practices for privacy and performance.

Deliverables
• Android Studio project with full, well-commented source code
• Server-side configuration (Linux) ready to deploy on a VPS
• Step-by-step documentation that lets me rebuild the entire stack from scratch, including key generation, server hardening, and publishing the APK
• A quick demonstration video or screenshots that show the public-Wi-Fi protection triggering automatically

Acceptance criteria
1. When the device connects to any open network the VPN engages within 3 seconds and all traffic routes through the tunnel.
2. Independent leak tests (DNS, IPv6, WebRTC) return no exposure.
3. The app passes Play-Store policy checks for foreground service and encryption export compliance.
