"I’m building a mobile game and now need a fully-functional in-game currency system. Players must be able to earn, purchase, and spend coins seamlessly inside the app, with their balances syncing in real time across devices.
Here’s what I’m after:
• A lightweight backend (Firebase, PlayFab, or a solution you propose) that stores each user’s coin balance, supports atomic add / subtract operations, and prevents duplication or loss.
• Simple REST or GraphQL endpoints plus client-side hooks so I can call “addCoins”, “spendCoins”, and “getBalance” from my Unity project.
• Optional admin panel where I can grant promotional coins, review logs, and adjust balances when needed.
• Clear setup instructions so I can deploy the service to my own account and connect it to TestFlight / Google Play builds without hassle.
I already have user authentication in place; you only need to plug into the existing user IDs. If you’ve done similar work for mobile titles, please tell me which stack you used and how you ensured security against cheating. A concise demo or Git repo reference will help me pick quickly.
