"I need a production-ready automation, built entirely in ActivePieces, that links our Notion project database with Slack so the team never misses an important date.

Here’s the flow I have in mind:
• Poll the main Notion Projects table on a schedule I can adjust.
• Detect anomalies—overdue items that are still open, deadlines landing while the assignee is on approved leave, and any other red flags you can surface with simple rule logic or lightweight AI.
• Send Slack alerts for past-due items and reminders for upcoming deadlines, posting directly in the project channel and @mentioning the owner.
• Hold for a human-in-the-loop step: when a staff member replies in Slack (“update status to In Review”, “push due date to Friday”, etc.) the workflow should capture that confirmation and push the change back to Notion automatically.
• Workflows should timeout gracefully if no response within notification period. Notification statuses/tracking should be created in an ActivePieces table for escalation purposes in the future.
Implementation notes
– Use the native Notion and Slack pieces wherever possible; JavaScript code steps are fine for anything custom.
– The approval pause needs to be robust: the flow should wait for the Slack reply and time-out gracefully if no response arrives.

Deliverables
1. ActivePieces workflow file (export) ready to import.
2. A short Loom/video or screenshot guide showing each step and how to add my credentials.
3. One brief hand-off call or chat to answer questions.

Successful completion of this project in a timely manner will lead to immediate additional workflow opportunities.

I’ll test by triggering a fake overdue task, replying in Slack, and confirming that the change lands back in Notion without manual intervention and the notification event and status is logged in a table. Once those checks pass, the project is complete." (client-provided description)
