"I need a skilled developer or team to build a mobile application (iOS and Android) that uses image recognition and AI to identify objects, text, or specific items in real-time using the device's camera.

The core functionality is to point the camera at an object, capture/process the image, and return accurate, relevant information about what is seen. I am open to discussing the best technical approach (custom model vs. cloud API) based on accuracy, cost, and speed requirements.

Key Features / Scope of Work:

Cross-Platform Mobile App: Develop a native or high-performance cross-platform app (React Native, Flutter, or similar) for iOS and Android.

Camera Integration: Implement a smooth, real-time camera view with options for capture, gallery upload, and basic image adjustments (zoom, focus).

Image Recognition Engine:

Integrate a robust image recognition/computer vision service (e.g., Google Vision AI, AWS Rekognition, Azure Computer Vision, or a custom-trained TensorFlow Lite/ML Kit model).

Core ability: Identify common objects, scenes, and text (OCR) within the image.

Results Display: Design a clean user interface to display the recognition results. This may include:

Bounding boxes/labels on the identified objects.

A list of detected items with confidence scores.

Additional fetched information (if applicable, e.g., product details from a database).

History & Saving: Implement a local storage system to save previous scans and results within the app.

Performance: The app must be optimized for fast processing and minimal latency, even with slower network connections.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Mobile Development: Proven experience with iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java), or expert-level Flutter/React Native.

AI/ML Integration: Hands-on experience with integrating computer vision APIs (Google Vision, AWS Rekognition, etc.) into mobile applications.

Machine Learning (Bonus): Experience with TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, or Apple Core ML for custom on-device models.

API Development (Bonus): Ability to set up a simple backend (Node.js, Python, Firebase) if needed for caching, custom logic, or managing API keys.
