"I’m rolling out a biometric payment option for our store network and need a developer who can connect a palm-scan reader directly to our integrated POS system (the same platform that also drives our inventory management). The goal is straightforward: when a customer hovers their hand over the sensor, the system should instantly identify them and complete the sale through their linked UPI mobile wallet—no cards, phones, or extra steps.

Key points of the build
• Hardware: you’ll interface with the palm-scanner SDK we already have in hand; firmware changes aren’t necessary.
• POS environment: the POS is tightly coupled with our inventory database, so the payment flow must post sales, adjust stock, and push receipts exactly as our current card transactions do.
• Payments: only mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay and similar) need to be tokenized and charged. Traditional card rails or bank transfers are out of scope for this phase.
• Security & compliance: biometric data has to stay on-device and be referenced via secure tokens. Please apply standard PCI-DSS practices for the wallet portion and document encryption, hashing and storage decisions clearly.
• Deliverables: a working POS plugin/module, integration and deployment guide, test scripts proving successful wallet payments and inventory updates, and brief hand-off training (screen share is fine).
