"I run a WordPress-based travel-agency site and need a custom plugin that keeps every property’s details perfectly aligned with its counterpart on Booking.com. For each listing in my system I’ll enter a [login to view URL] URL; the plugin must then pull both room prices and availability on a regular schedule and update my own WooCommerce-style inventory accordingly.

Because each property contains several room categories and time-limited offers, I want a reusable template I can fill out once per property to map [login to view URL]’s categories and offers to the ones I use internally. Whenever data is missing or [login to view URL] marks a room as closed out, the plugin should fall back to an individual price that I can set per room—or, if I leave that fallback blank, simply flag the room as unavailable on my site.

Core deliverables
• Admin field to store a [login to view URL] link on every property post type
• Scheduled fetch that retrieves both prices and availability and pushes them into my database
• Template-based mapping interface so I can pair [login to view URL] categories/offers with my own
• Per-room fallback price field that overrides only when [login to view URL] data is absent
• Front-end logic to show the correct live price or mark the room unavailable
• Clean, documented code that plays nicely with current WordPress standards, uses hooks/actions, and won’t break on updates
