"I have two live sites: my own webs site and a partner site that already houses the information it’s basically a calculator .
What I need is a robust, well-documented API connection that continuously pulls the partner’s product data into my database so everything—descriptions, SKU IDs, and any other information they expose—stays perfectly in sync without manual intervention.

The previous attempt left me with broken endpoints and half-updated records, so reliability, clean code, and thorough testing are non-negotiable this time. You’ll be free to work in the stack you’re most efficient with, but the finished solution must:

• Authenticate securely with the partner site’s API (key, OAuth, or token, depending on what they provide).
• Retrieve the full set of product information and map it to my existing tables.
• Handle pagination, rate limits, and error responses gracefully, logging issues instead of silently failing.
• Schedule automatic refreshes (cron, queue worker, or webhooks—whichever is most appropriate) so new items, edits, and deletions propagate quickly.
• Include a rollback or fallback plan if the partner feed goes down.
• Ship with concise setup/maintenance documentation and a brief hand-off call so I understand how to monitor the integration.
