"I’m refreshing an existing WooCommerce store and need an experienced developer who has spent several years working directly with WooCommerce shortcodes—particularly those that drive the cart and checkout flow.

Scope
The immediate goal is to replace the default cart and checkout experience with shortcode-powered layouts that feel faster and more tailored to my brand. I want you to:

• Build custom cart templates that can be dropped into any page via shortcode, retaining full compatibility with WooCommerce core updates.
• Configure a true one-page checkout, again shortcode-based, so customers move from cart review to payment without page reloads.
• Add custom checkout fields through shortcodes (e.g., gift notes, delivery instructions) while keeping field validation and order-meta storage intact.

Tools & approach
I’m comfortable using widely adopted WooCommerce plugins such as CheckoutWC, CartFlows, or WooCommerce One Page Checkout if they speed things up and stay future-proof. If you have a favourite plugin that meets these needs, let me know; I’m open to recommendations as long as the end result is clean, lightweight, and easy to maintain.

Deliverables
