Project description:
"I already have a loyal in-store customer base for my own cat food brand—now it’s time to mirror that success online. I need a WordPress site running WooCommerce that feels as light, fast, and uncluttered as the packaging on my shelves.
The build must cover the full WooCommerce setup, from choosing a lightweight, mobile-friendly theme to configuring shipping, taxes, analytics, and guest checkout. I’ll supply the logo, colour palette, and fonts; you handle everything else so that a visitor can land, browse, and buy in as few clicks as possible.
Key user-flow points
• Product catalogue must support filtering by categories so shoppers instantly see the range that suits their cat.
• Checkout stays guest-friendly—no forced registration—and shows a streamlined progress bar.
• Payment options at launch: PayPal and Credit/Debit Card through my bank’s gateway. I’m open to adding Stripe later, but it isn’t required now.
• Home page needs a striking, full-width header image with a clear call-to-action button leading straight to the Foods section.
Pages required for go-live
Homepage / Foods (catalogue) / Cart / Checkout / Payment confirmation / About / Contact.
Acceptance criteria
– PageSpeed Insights score 90+ on mobile.
– Fully responsive breakpoints down to 320 px width.
– Category filter works without page reloads.
– Successful test transactions on both gateways in sandbox mode and live mode.
Once the site is ready I’ll upload product photos and descriptions; a short Loom walk-through or written SOP from you on how to add future SKUs would be appreciated. If you can deliver a seamless, minimal shopping experience, I’m ready to start right away." (client-provided description)
