"I need a clean, well-documented Python API that replaces wizwalker for my Wizard101 bazaar-trading bot. The existing wrapper is painfully slow and throws unhandled exceptions, so the new code must be noticeably faster and far more reliable. It has to plug straight into my current .py bot file without forcing me to rewrite core logic; a familiar class and method structure is welcome, but feel free to improve upon it.

If you take this job, you just finish as soon as possible. And as agreed to our standards in our agreement. Wizwalker is what I currently use, and before I hire you, I want the reassurance of knowing you’re going to work your ass off and make this API the best it can be. English please.

Primary focus is on market transaction data—searching listings, buying, selling, price checking, and confirming completed trades. Faster response times and stronger error handling are non-negotiable; timeouts, retries, and clear exception messages should all be in place. I can supply a live Wizard101 account for sandbox testing so you can capture traffic and validate endpoints.

Authentication is still open for discussion. If an API key, OAuth flow, or another lightweight approach suits the game’s constraints, walk me through the pros and cons and implement what makes sense.

Deliverables

• Integration guide showing how to swap out wizwalker in my existing script
• Brief usage examples and docstrings for each public method
• Performance log (before vs. after) demonstrating improved call speed and reduced error rate
