"I need a palletising plug-in written on top of FRCap for Visual Studio Code that lets me move from CAD layout to live production plans in a single step. The extension must automatically build efficient pallet patterns, let me step in and refine those patterns by hand from the same UI, and then preview the result in a smooth real-time simulation window.

The algorithm has to cope with mixed product types rather than just uniform cartons, so please think beyond simple layer-by-layer stacking. I am not requesting direct links to our WMS or ERP at this stage, so you can stay focused on the plug-in itself and the FRCap API.

If you are comfortable working inside the VSCode extension framework (TypeScript/Node, Webview, FRCap SDK, Node.js,
CSS, Vite, Vue3) and can demonstrate a working prototype that:
• loads a sample data set of mixed SKUs,
• produces an optimised pattern automatically,
• allows point-and-click re-arrangement, and
• animates the final stack at interactive frame rates,

then I’d love to see your approach and timeline. Clean, well-commented code and a short markdown guide for users and future contributors will be the final deliverables." (client-provided description)
