"I run a CodeIgniter-based platform that blends an advertisement module with a lightweight ecommerce section. Every day fresh issues pop up—small PHP errors, CSS glitches, occasional database quirks—and new ideas for improvements arrive just as fast. I’m looking for someone who can step in regularly, squash the bugs and push out incremental upgrades with equal priority.

On the advertising side you’ll mainly be dealing with banner and video placements: making sure they render correctly across devices, refining rotation logic, and tweaking performance metrics when needed. For the ecommerce portion, smooth product listing and a rock-solid shopping cart are my non-negotiables; streamlining catalogue filters, fixing cart anomalies, and improving checkout speed are typical tasks you can expect. Payment gateway work isn’t on the immediate roadmap, but if you’re comfortable with it that flexibility could come in handy later.

You’ll be working directly in the existing CI MVC structure—so clean controller logic, model optimization, and tidy Blade-like views (we’re using the built-in CI templating) are part of the daily routine. Git is in place for version control, MySQL backs the data, and basic jQuery/JavaScript keeps the front end interactive.

Deliverables will usually be small, clearly defined tickets—resolved, committed, and pushed to the staging branch for my quick review before going live. If a bigger feature is scheduled, we’ll break it into milestones with acceptance tests specified up front.
