"I run a Cisco UCCX 12.5 cluster and need a new Contact Service Queue script that reaches out to an external REST endpoint during the call flow. The goal is simple: once a caller reaches a specific step in the script, UCCX must package some custom data I’ll supply (order numbers, session IDs, and a couple of dynamic variables captured during the call) and push it to the external service with an HTTP POST.

Please build the script in the UCCX Script Editor, using the standard HTTP Request step to transmit the payload. I have the target URL, authentication header, and a sample JSON body ready; you can hard-code these for now—variables are fine as long as they’re clearly labeled so I can swap them later. The flow should include basic success / failure handling: if the API responds 2xx, continue to the next prompt; anything else should branch to an error announcement and write a log entry.
