"Hi,
I’m looking for a developer to build a WordPress website from scratch for listing used electric cars (inventory typically between 2 and 50 vehicles). The site should be fast, stable, easy to manage, and SEO-friendly.
Core requirements
1) Admin / Backoffice
Admin area to create/edit/delete vehicles.
Listing status: Available / Reserved / Sold (and ability to hide/show sold units).
Manage customer inquiries (view leads and add internal notes).
2) Front-end browsing
Vehicle listing pages with search and filters: price, km, year, battery (kWh), range (WLTP), charging (AC/DC kW), warranty, etc.
Sorting options (newest, price, mileage).
3) Vehicle listing content
Predefined fields: year, km, price, battery capacity (kWh), range (WLTP), charging (AC/DC kW), warranty, plus a free-text description.
Add equipment checkboxes (tick boxes) to mark features per vehicle (e.g., heat pump, panoramic roof, ACC, lane assist, parking camera, etc.).
Support high-quality images (gallery) and videos (YouTube/Vimeo embed).
Mobile-first, user-friendly design.
4) Sold handling
Mark a vehicle as Sold.
Keep the vehicle page accessible for SEO (do not break URLs), clearly showing “Sold” and suggesting alternative available cars.
5) Email automation
Automatic email response after form submission (editable templates).
Internal notification email for each inquiry.
6) QR code
Generate a QR code per vehicle linking to its vehicle page.
Printable A4 vehicle sheet (price + key specs + QR).
7) SEO (basic)
SEO-friendly URLs, meta title/description per vehicle, [login to view URL], and good performance.
8) Language & GDPR
Website in Spanish only.
Full GDPR compliance: cookie banner/consent, privacy policy, legal notice, and forms with required checkboxes.
We will provide all legal/website texts in Spanish and English (for development convenience), but only Spanish will be published/displayed on the website.
9) Hosting & security
Hosted on IONOS Business (credentials will be provided).
Configure SSL and basic security (e.g., limit login attempts and hardening best practices).
Hosting backups are handled by IONOS, but please confirm the backup/restore setup is correctly configured.
Extra
WhatsApp click-to-chat button and WhatsApp contact option on each vehicle page.
Deliverables
Full WordPress setup (theme + plugins + configuration).
Short admin guide: how to add/edit vehicles, mark sold, print QR sheets, and manage leads.
