"This project calls for a purpose-built Shopify theme that becomes the new online home for my e-commerce business. The store does not exist yet, so every page—home, collection, product, cart, and checkout—has to be designed and coded from the ground up in Liquid, HTML / CSS, and JavaScript.

Top priorities
• Effortless navigation that keeps customers flowing from landing page to checkout
• Mobile-first responsiveness so the layout feels native on any screen size
• Lightning-fast loading, trimmed of unnecessary apps or bloated code
• A clean, distraction-free interface with zero pop-ups or intrusive overlays

Scope of work
– Design a cohesive visual style that represents the brand and can scale as the catalog grows.
– Develop reusable sections and templates inside the Shopify Theme Editor, fully compatible with Online Store 2.0.
– Optimise images, fonts, and scripts to pass Shopify’s performance metrics and core web vitals.
– Configure essential settings (shipping, taxes, payment gateways) so the store is launch-ready.

Deliverables
1. Theme files installed on my Shopify account and set as default.
2. Written instructions (or short Loom video) showing how to update content, add products, and adjust settings.
3. Post-launch support for bug fixes during the first two weeks.

Acceptance criteria
• Google PageSpeed Insights score 90+ on mobile and desktop.
• No pop-ups triggered on any page, verified across Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
• Site renders smoothly on iOS, Android, and major desktop resolutions without horizontal scrolling.

Tools you’ll likely touch: Figma or Adobe XD for mock-ups, Shopify Liquid, Theme Kit or GitHub integration, CSS / SCSS, vanilla JavaScript, and image optimisation utilities such as TinyPNG.
