"I’ve already completed the visual design for my personal portfolio and now need a developer who can turn those screens into a polished, production-ready React frontend. You’ll receive the full design files at the very start, along with a simple component map that outlines how I’d like the sections broken down.

Your job is to translate each layout into clean, maintainable React code, ensuring the site is fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile. I’d like modern best practices throughout—functional components, hooks, and straightforward CSS modules or styled-components (whichever you prefer, as long as the styling stays scoped and readable). Small interaction touches such as smooth scrolling, subtle hover states, and a lightweight image-lazy-load are part of the brief, but there’s no heavy backend work involved.

I’ll test the build locally, so please push progress to a Git repository I can pull from. Once all pages match the designs pixel-for-pixel and pass Lighthouse for performance and accessibility, the job is complete." (client-provided description)
